DanceNOW has followed a green path for more than two decades. Without a performance venue of our own to maintain, and an office that exists on-line, we have focused on resourcefulness, creativity and the development of strategic partnerships to discover, renew and reclaim dance as an integral part of our lives. Our flexibility allows us to experiment with new and alternative means of bringing dance and community together, partnering with several other arts organizations, sharing resources, and creating distinctive events to offer audiences a more tangible experience with dance.
Press and VIP Services
- Press and Listing Releases for ALL performance events will be sent by email unless otherwise requested.
- Press Kits will be available on-line for download and in digital form upon request.
Steps to Sustain the Environment

- Notification of all events, performances, press, updates, recommendations and much more through email, Patron Mail, FaceBook and other internet sources will replace ALL hard copy mailings and costly postage. JoinNOW
- GreenNOW Partnerships
- DanceNOW [NYC] partners with Joe's Pub at The Public Theater, Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, Dance Theater Workshop, Desales University, Abrons Arts Center, Fourth Arts Block, Design Brooklyn, MissWit.Net and Michael Angelo's Wonderland Beauty Parlor to help us expand our network, sharing resources and cutting back on costs.
- GreenNOW Audience Services
- Event programs for ALL performances have been replaced with our new projectable programs and will be available to you on-line to download so that we can reduce our hard-copy program handouts.
- Reviews and Other Press will be available to you on-line for download.
Artist Services
- The Application Process to present work in all our programs will be an on-line process.
- Request for Performance Information [Program and Production Needs] will be on-line process.
- YouTube Video Clips will replace viewing work by DVD and Video.
- FaceBook will assist in connecting our artist and audience communities.
Organic Tees
- Our popular DanceNOW [NYC] TShirts made by MissWit.Net are now made of Organic Cotton and Bamboo.
